We just returned from a wonderful weekend in Pittsburgh! We flew our last Wednesday Dad's house for a long weekend visit. Laura and her family drove from Cincinnati for the weekend as well. We had a ton of fun together and seemed to be busy every minute! My kids had a little rough beginning to the trip but things got better at the end. To start off we got everyone up at 4:30am to catch our flight only to arrive, check-in, go through security just to find out we had been involuntarily bumped from the flight. Needless to say, we finally arrived in Pittsburgh at 5pm. Mallory fell and sprained her ankle, Mick got stung by hornets, twice on the same day, fell off a tall patio bar stool but all in all they both had a great time! This year the weather didn't cooperate and it rained every day we were there so we spent more time inside than normal. Here are a few pictures of some of the many things we did during our time with Dad and Chris!!!
Playing at the playground prior to all the injuries!

Ice Cream from D
Q.

Breakfast on the deck.

Chris has a convertible and the kids thought it was great fun going for rides!

We went to downtown Pittsburgh and played in the fountains outside of where Chris works.

We celebrated Mick's birthday!

Had fun sharing toys!

Made a second visit to
DQ in honor of Walter using the big boy potty!

We all had a great time playing with Karl!

Mallory loves her Aunt
Lala!

Bath time was so fun!

Mick playing on the deck.

Beautiful blue eyes!

Mallory and Walter, they are so cute together!

Sebastian, Laura, and the family right before heading home.

Trying a cousins photo.

Still trying!

Mick saw Walter with his suitcase of toys so he went and got his and was ready to go home with the
Bachmann's. Mick was so upset when they left without him, I truly have never seen him so upset, it was so cute but also so sad!

Trying to get one last picture together!

Mick was so exhausted after Walter leaving he fell asleep during the convertible ride, the flower was still in his hand!
Dad and Chris thank you so much for a great trip! Now off to fold laundry and finally go to bed!

I'm so glad that you finally made it. From the look of the pictures, you had a great time as usual. I wish we'd had that fountain to play in over the weekend. It was HOT!! Mick and Walter looked so cute with their suitcases. They are really at the age where they truly enjoy each others company.
