Mallory's First Band Concert

Mallory had her first band concert yesterday, I must say they did really well for only playing three times a week for about three months now. She says this is the only year she is going to play but I hope not, she did great. Also, I was in the worst spot to get her picture so sorry you only see about half of her face in most pictures! Great job Mal, we look forward to attending more band concerts!

Our Christmas Tree

The Friday after Thanksgiving we headed out to find the perfect Christmas tree for our house. We have a tree farm right down the road from our house. We like all of the fun that this tree farm has. Everyone had a great time and we have a beautiful tree decorated by our children!
Mick was so excited he was running all over checking everything out!
Mick with his rather large ornament that he picked out.
Cheese
Next we went out back and ran around and climbed some rocks and visited the playground.

The arrival of Santa! Mick actually told him Hi!
Going for a horse drawn hay rack ride.
Chris is such a great Dad, Mick wanted to ride the train so they hopped in the caboose and went for a ride!
Having a great time!

Happy Thanksgiving 2010

On Tuesday my Dad, his wife Chris, and her Mom, Evelyn arrived to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. This year was a very special year in that my Dad just finished his chemo treatments for the lung cancer he was diagnosed with this summer. I must say Dad looked amazing, I am so tankful he seems to be handling the chemo so well. While they were here the kids enjoyed having someone else to play with and we seemed to keep them pretty busy! We had a great visit and look forward to another one at Christmas!

Christmas Card Pictures

Two Saturday's ago I headed to the park to take photos of my good friend Janette's family. Their family pictures turned out really great! I don't want to spoil her card so I will share a few pictures later. We decided we would try and get some photos of our kids for our own Christmas card. Here are a few of the cute photos we got!
