Big Truck Night

Thursday night Mick's school hosted Big Truck Night. Last year Walter was here for BTN as well and he had a great time but Mick didn't. This year they both had a wonderful time and it was so fun to see Mick enjoy everything. At first Walter didn't want to go so we got a late start to our evening and had to miss some of the big truck but most important was the school bus ride! The boys got to sit together and they LOVED the ride around the school campus. They also had fire trucks, police cars, limousines, street sweeper, electric company truck with large buckets, motorcycles, tractors, the Schwans man was handing out popsicles, all such fun! Mallory had a ton of homework so she wanted to stay home. She was in the shower when we called and said we were headed to Orange Leaf for a little snack! What a super fun night, Walter we hope you and Karl can come back for BTN next year!!

Study Buddy

Now that Mallory is a big 5th grader she has the chance to be a study buddy to a 2nd grader. She was assigned the most darling little girl named Haillie. Today was their fist day together and my friend Janette was at school and got these adorable pictures, thanks so much Janette! Mallory is already planning out what to get her for a little Christmas gift. So fun being a 5th grader!!

Trip to Kansas City

Ok, be prepared to a ton, and I mean a ton of pictures!! We just got back from our weekend in KC with my Dad and Chris, Laura and her family, and the rest of my Dad's family. We had a fantastic time, it was the first time in many years we had all been together. There will be more pictures to follow but these were a few that I thought were cute for starters! Thanks everyone for making this weekend possible!

We went to Deanna Rose Farms which out family discovered last year, such a fun place! Mallory caught about 5 or 6 fish within minutes!
