Happy Thanksgiving 2010

On Tuesday my Dad, his wife Chris, and her Mom, Evelyn arrived to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. This year was a very special year in that my Dad just finished his chemo treatments for the lung cancer he was diagnosed with this summer. I must say Dad looked amazing, I am so tankful he seems to be handling the chemo so well. While they were here the kids enjoyed having someone else to play with and we seemed to keep them pretty busy! We had a great visit and look forward to another one at Christmas!

Mick always loves Chris' rolling work bag, Chris you might still have to bring this even once retired!

Christmas Card Pictures

Two Saturday's ago I headed to the park to take photos of my good friend Janette's family. Their family pictures turned out really great! I don't want to spoil her card so I will share a few pictures later. We decided we would try and get some photos of our kids for our own Christmas card. Here are a few of the cute photos we got!

Study Buddies

Mallory's class is study buddies with a class of second graders. They get together and do projects, and overall just have a good time. Their project for October was to get to make individual pumpkin pies, I was asked to come help so I got to join in on the fun. I must say Mallory has the most adorable little girl and she loves Mallory to death, so cute!

Going over all of the ingredients.

Lights, Camera, Action!!

Mallory had her last grade school music program a couple of weeks ago. The program consisted of songs that were in popular movies or tv shows. While it was fun watching her it's sad to think we won't be going back to watch her again. For the show the kids were all to wear white shirts and denim pants. Mallory's green cast really stood out!

Happy Halloween 2010

Last night we had a great time trick or treating! Mallory went with her friends and we went with our neighbors. Mallory was a beautiful bumble bee and Mick was supposed to be Buzz Lightyear but he saw Mal's costume and didn't want to be Buzz. He just went as Mick and still had a blast!
