Visit from Grandpa Bob!

My Dad came for a very quick visit to celebrate Mallory's Birthday this week. We had a busy day and two nights with him but everyone had a great time. He got to see what life is like around our house during the week which is usually a little busy! Thanks for coming Dad!! It was great to see you. Also, Chris if you read this the minute Dad got out of the car Mallory wanted to know where you were!! We missed seeing you.

Too many cute pictures to pick just one!

On Tuesday my sister Laura and her two boys Walter and Karl arrived. It was so good to get to see them all again. We have been busy playing with them and having a great time, although Mick gets REALLY jealous when ever I hold Karl. We also celebrated Mallory's birthday at school on Wednesday since the kids are out of school on Friday. This morning we had a "Family" meeting and Chris took Mallory, Walter and Mick for us and looks like they all had a great time. Did I ever mention I have such a great hubby?? There will be more pictures to come of Mallory's birthday and the rest of Laura & Families time here but for now these will have to do!

Mallory's 10th Birthday Party!

Tonight Mallory celebrated her birthday with her school and neighborhood friends. Her birthday isn't really until the 18th but with my Sister and family coming to town and no school on the 18th we decided to party tonight! Mallory wanted to have a disco dance party. We decorated the basement and they had dance contests, and all sorts of dancing fun. Papa John's for dinner, then a last swim in our pool for the season (we turned the heater on to 95) and then some yummy cake from Cheri's. They are now all watching a movie, who knows when they will actually all fall asleep. Here are a few pictures from our night.

Mick's First Day of School

Well, he didn't really start school, we just call it that around out house. The official title is "Mom's Day Out!" This summer he had real problems with going lots of crying and not wanting to leave Mommy. Today he walked right into Church and went to his class and was such a big boy and never cried. I went to pick him up and they said he had his best day ever, YIPPIEE!! He did is own art work and all, needless to say it was a great day for Mick but even a better day for a Mommy who worries about her son everyday!
At home ready to go to school.
I love this picture, he looks like such a big boy!
Upon arrival first thing they have to do is wash their hands!
No crying like I thought he would be playing with friends. What a sweet little boy:-)
