Painting class

Mallory had another painting class last Sunday, I am always so excited to see what she will come home with and once again I was amazed with what she brought home! We are enjoying this painting in our entry way right now. I love my little artist!

Pure Entertainment

On Saturday we took the kids to a new place in town called Pure Entertainment. You don't have to be there for a party you can just pay and jump all you want. The kids had a blast and boy was Mick worn out at the end of the night. We plan on going back soon!
Madi, Mick, and Mallory on the big slide.
Twister themed bounce house.
Team work! Mallory and Madi were so good to help Mick up all of the slides.
This one was huge! They all had a great time in here!!

Oh Christmas Tree

On Saturday we headed to Prairie Pines to cut down our own Christmas tree. I have never in my entire life had a fake Christmas tree so this is a tradition of ours. It was cold and windy but everyone had a great time. We need to finish decorating the tree and then I will post pictures.
I love this old barn.
On our way to get our Christmas tree!
Who is that guy (Santa)??? Don't think I want to see him.
He is offering me candy maybe I should check him out!
I am too big to sit on Santa's lap, but not too big to ask for presents! No pictures of either child with Santa this year!
Mick loved the train on the mantle, the place was decorated so pretty.
Hayrack ride to the fields to cut down a tree. I couldn't get Mick to look because he was obsessed with the tractor.
Burrrrrr it's cold outside!
Cookies and hot cider after finding our tree.
We thought this ornament was pretty cute!!

Another great letter!!

I posted a letter that Mallory wrote to me around Thanksgiving about her being more responsible, I thought the letter was pretty cute! On Friday she came home with this letter that she had to write to her teacher about how her week of being more responsible went, Chris and I laughed so hard, I love her little sweet personality. Click on the picture for a close up of the letter. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did!
P.S. I love her for trying but she isn't going to get paid for putting her shoes away, love ya Mal!!

Mick getting into his crib.

Well, after a long search Mommy and Daddy have finally won the crib battle!! Woo Hoo!! We have been searching for the last week for a crib tent, every store in Wichita was out, online they were all on backorder, very frustrating as we were getting up at ungodly hours of the night to put him back to bed. We decided that he/we were not ready for the big boy bed battle yet. Tonight as we were driving to Babies-R-Us to look for a different type of bed I remembered we had a discount baby store on our side of town and I wanted to go see if they had the tent. I went in and the clerk told me they didn't have any but I could tell she didn't really know what she was talking about so I began to search, on the bottom shelf in a corner was one Cozy Crib Tent, I was so excited I was about to jump up and down, Chris was in the car with the kids so I didn't have anyone to share my excitement with. I walked to the front with the biggest smile on my face, so proud of my purchase. We got home and Chris installed the tent first thing and we let Mick play and get used to it. At bed time I had the camera all ready to get video his protest of his now lost freedom...he didn't even make a peep! We couldn't believe how easy it was. Since there wasn't a protest video here is video of Mick climbing in his crib. I love this little guy to death but life will now be so much better thanks to Baby Depot and the maker of the Cozy Crib Tent!!
