Limo Ride at School

This winter Mallory's school had a fundraiser that had a prize many were interested in! If they sold 10 of these discount cards they would be given a limo ride to Pizza Hut for lunch. Of course the minute she got in the car I heard all about how fun the limo was going to be and how she really wanted to sell 10 cards. She got busy and in no time had ten sold. Here are some pictures my friend Janette took of the kids loading into the Limo. Last night when I picked her up she said the guy that told them about the Limo ride was a good salesman because the Limo wasn't near as nice as he made it out to be, lol!! Maybe a lesson in not everything is as good as it seems, she compared him to an infomercial, so funny!!
The Limo.
All of the kids getting ready to head to Pizza Hut.
This is the group from Mal's class that got to go.
This is the whole group that she went with, there were several other groups of kids that got to go as well.

LOL that's funny!! Most of the kids were in awe, but they've never seen the inside of a limo before. I'm sure Mallory probably has been in nicer ones before. Logan was most impressed with the boards on the side where you could draw w/ your finger and make the lights do crazy things. Both boys also loved that they had control of the radio -- seems dangerous to me though LOL!! I thought it was funny that they had pop in the cooler bins but were told not to touch. Hmm -- was that just placed in there to see which kids didn't listen? LOL!!

Janette, Mallory still had a great time she just said the salesman told them they would have x-boxes, etc. in the limo and that if would be a hummer looking limo, that did look very similar to the limo we took to look at Christmas lights last year. Mallory is just getting great lessons here lately in sometime people's talk is bigger that the real thing!

LOL -- that would explain why several of the groups that I saw arrive back from Pizza Hut were saying "there wasn't an x-box in there"!! I just laughed and thought maybe those kids had been in one w/ an x-box or they assumed it would have one, etc! Interesting that the salesman would over-hype it -- almost makes the whole thing even that much more frustrating!!
